ASA – Amsterdam Street Art

If Walls Could Speak

From 13 to 17 May 2019 Stichting Amsterdam Street Art (ASA) organized a unique street art festival at the Platanenweg in the Eastside of Amsterdam. The festival If Walls Could Speak resulted in 10 huge murals ( 10 x 15 meters ) from well-known national and international street art artists. The designs of all the murals are brought forth from the theme ‘Amsterdam for Everybody’.

If Walls Could Speak is the result of a trusting collaboration with housing corporation Stadgenoot and ASA. Stadgenoot is progressive in the field of developing creative and togetherness living environments where everybody feels at home. A perfect match with ASA whose mission it is to bring more creativity to the streets and create a platform for Street Art, both in Amsterdam as worldwide.

If Walls Could Speak is the first large-scale project in Amsterdam where a district in the center is provided with so many large murals. By painting 10 huge murals, the selected artists transformed the completely renovated area into a safe and creative neighborhood. Amsterdam Street Art curated a wide range of various styles and aimed to book high-profile artists from The Netherlands and abroad.

Would you like to really make an impression? No wall is too big for us, to send out the message you would like to communicate with your brand or product. Challenge our artists to immortalize your message on an exclusive mural.

ASA has a great network of street artists. On our radar, we have both upcoming talents for innovative and affordable expressions as great international artists who can guarantee an international public with their recognizable style on your mural.

Together we can select a wall, building or other object and convert your message into a mood board. Based on the mood board we will set up a shortlist with street artists. For big projects, it is possible to set up a group of artists to jointly implement the project. We will ask them to share their ideas and create some sketches, so we together can make a motivated choice. ASA guides the entire project, from idea to implementation and, if desired, the recording of the process for subsequent communications.
