1. We are fans of your work, what’s coming up that we need to know?

Hello everyone. What is to come can be seen in several aspects. My streetart work and the other is my studio work.  Speaking of the street theme, I am giving shape to a project of 15 simple but expressive interventions, in forgotten places and showing the power of the spray in spaces in disuse, as well as several international events at the end of June. This will be at the well-known Portuguese event ‘LouresArtePubica’, where I have been invited to take part to do a mural at the event and the other event is yet to be defined, that’s it for now. 

In terms of study, I am developing several portrait projects through the use of  stains and lines and its materialization in different formats, for projects, exhibitions, and interior projects. Along with this, I will continue working on the portrait as I have been doing for years, emphasizing its chromatic development, compensation in the forms and a global balance.

2. What mediums do you use at the moment to make the artworks and are there any new progress in new mediums or formats?

In that aspect I am quite classic. I always paint with spray and to paint the previous base, or to fill large parts, I use plastic paint with some dye or concrete color.  It is true that today there are different techniques and tools that facilitate, give different possibilities or help to find a particular result. I think it is great, each one can use what he thinks is necessary to achieve his work. 

3.How do you look at the Dutch street art/graffiti scene?

I see her in very good health. There are really good writers working hard and with considerable perseverance, as well as people responsible for organizing events to give more visibility and presence to graffiti / street-art, such as Step In The Arena, where I was invited to participate the previous year.  What I notice from the outside, is that there is a lot of involvement from private or public organizations or institutions, which are betting heavily on graffiti and street-art, such as the recent museum that is going to open in June in Amsterdam, incredible and admirable project.

4.What is the next step into the future of StreetArt in your opinion?

It is clear that there will be a multiplicity of styles and techniques as we are seeing nowadays.Iconsider that graffiti, street-art or muralism, will preserve its essence, without forgetting the roots of graffiti, since most of current muralists come from the most conventional graffiti, and it will be persistent in its style, it is clear that it will evolve, and through the new technologies will have another slope, but keeps its essence as we know it today.

5.If you have to choose, which city would you like to conquer next?

Difficult question, there are very interesting cities that I would like to ‘conquer’, especially in Europe, I would stay with Paris, it keeps a very artistic and elegant air, for its architecture and its style.  Although it is true that I am sure there are many cities that I still don’tknow, and that I will conquer in the future, haha.

6.I have seen a big progress in your artwork. What do you think about your own progress?

For almost 10 years, I worked on lettering. the most classic aspect of graffiti, where I learned a lot of the technique that I currently have as well as a wider field of graffiti.  In the last 5 years, I am working with realism with touches of illustration, and it is true that I have personally refined the style, the forms, the colors and the way of working, although not everything is done. I am in full search of where I want to go work in the coming years.  To devote all my time to graffiti, work in the studio, attend events, learn and meet new people, makes your work evolve faster, be more diverse and have more possibilities.

7. Your a very dedicated artist, is there any advice you can give to younger dedicated artists and your fans?

I work less than I should, but yes, I work daily. The only thing I could say is that all this is based on discipline, time, knowledge of the field that you work, respect and illusion, the rest comes alone.

8.What is the biggest change in the last 20 years if you look at Streetart/Graffiti scene

Everything has changed everything from the way graffiti is made to the materials that are used. 20 years ago there was a very good scene, but today there are many styles, within the wild style there are many ways of doing it, in the dolls it is the same, in the realism as well, in abstractions and use of color … a lot of variety, many writers working a lot and much evolution of the term Graffiti itself. 

9.What is your favorite work of the last year?

To be honest, my favorite is Summer Light1, although Summer Light2 was the one that had the most impact and positive reviews. Both were a portrait, the first color and spots, and the second grayscale and defined, a whole opposition that is present in the technique with which I have been working for the last time.
