Being in a gallery as an emerging street artist can jumpstart your career. It introduces your work to new audiences, increases visibility, and can lead to new opportunities, while also helping you build experience. But how do you get there?

In 2026, we launched the ASA Artist Presentations, a new exhibition series in which artists from the ASA Artist network get the chance to present their work to the public. Where needed, we support artists with the practical aspects of putting on a show, such as how to present their work, how commissions work, and how to price their pieces.

The first edition took place in February at Nicholas Groente & Fruit, a creative shop and gallery in the city centre. Ten artists showed their work, and more than 150 visitors came by to discover the exhibition. It was a strong start for a format we plan to continue developing with new editions, new artists, and new locations. VOL. 2 is currently in the making, and in the coming editions, ASA Artist Presentations will pop up at different locations across Amsterdam throughout the year.

ASA Artist Presentations are a chance to meet new talent and see which artists we are working with. For curators, collectors, and curious visitors, it is a great opportunity to stop by, experience the work up close, discover new talent, and buy affordable work by up and coming artists. Each presentation is carefully put together, with a strong selection of artists and artworks.

For artists

As a foundation, Amsterdam Street Art is committed to helping street artists develop their careers. That is why we created the ASA Artist database. Artists can sign up on our website to become an ASA Artist and introduce themselves and their work to the Amsterdam Street Art Foundation.

When commissioned projects, mural requests, or other opportunities come in, we use the ASA Artist database to identify which artists might be the right fit. At the same time, we also create projects and opportunities for ASA Artists ourselves.

Opportunities we offer ASA Artists:

  • Participation in ASA Artist Presentations
  • Open calls for diverse projects
  • Access to the Stickerdrop
  • Sharing your work on our socials
  • Access to co working space, depending on availability

If you work in street art, graffiti, illustration, or other forms of urban creativity, you can sign up and become part of the network.

For locations and partners

We are also looking for new locations and partners for future ASA Artist Presentations. We are looking for shops, cafés, cultural spaces, and other interesting places and organisations in Amsterdam that are open to hosting an exhibition or artist presentation. If you have a space or an idea and would like to collaborate, please send us a message.
