What a weekend it’s going to be. On 6 and 7 September, the tunnel next to Hannekes Boom gets flipped. The run-down, neglected walls will be taken over by more than 60 graffiti writers, character artists, and muralists. Two full days of paint, beats, and energy are about to change the spot for good.
Things kick off Saturday morning at 10.00 and run until 20.00. Crews, solo writers, painters, and muralists will be painting until the whole tunnel turns into one massive open-air gallery. DJ’s keep it moving all day, making sure there’s no dead air while the walls come alive. When the paint runs out and the sun goes down, the day doesn’t stop there. The crowd heads straight to Hannekes Boom for the official afterparty, from 20.00 till late.
On Sunday we’re back at it from 10.00 to 20.00 for another full day of paint and sound. Food will be around all weekend, and if you need a break, you can always slide over to Hannekes Boom right next door.
