In 2016 and 2017 the Art of Banksy exhibition at the Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam took place. This was an unauthorized Banksy exhibition by the former agent of Banksy, Steve Lazarides and was the first show in Amsterdam of Banksy’s work this big. ASA was involved with part of the promotion of the exhibition and curated in this role a cross-over exhibition.
On the occasion of the event, ASA collaborated with 5&33 Gallery and curated the exhibition ‘Street Art Evolution, Inspired by The Art of Banksy’. Due to the huge success of the Art of Banksy, it was the right moment to generate more attention for street art in general. The Street Art Evolution exhibition created a stage for artists who are inspired by Banksy or in some cases artists from where Banksy got inspired.
The following artists participated during the Street Art Evolution exhibition:
- Hugo Kaagman
- Rhyme (GVB)
- Pengo (CBS)
- Laser 3.14
- BustArt (Swiss)
- Mick la Rock
- Tim Boin (Sober Industries)
- Mr. June
- TYLER (India)
- Pipsqueak was Here!!! (Winner Dutch Street Art Awards 2016)
Beside of curating the show ASA also took care of the complete promotion, flyer design and outdoor promotion for the Art of Banksy by painting the premise & and organizing indoor activities in the form of live painting and street art workshops.

Would you also like to create an innovative experience? ASA is the perfect partner to design an ‘out of the box’ concept for your product, message or company whereby several urban disciplines reinforce each.
For several clients ASA developed multi-disciplinary concepts. Within these concepts street art is combined with, as an example, urban music and interactive workshops. The total experience has a reinforcing effect to keep the target group actively involved and to realize the underlying (commercial) goals.
